We chose the Nautoscaph II to revive and lead the resurrection of Alsta in the 21st Century. We followed this with the Nautoscaph III and the Surf n Ski. For those who must have the watch for which Alsta will always be known, we are thrilled to present the Alsta Nautoscaph Superautomatic. We plan limited releases of a handful of new styles annually. BRINGING ROMANCE BACK TO WRISTWATCHES

Why should you have to choose between form and function? The classic 38mm Alsta Superautomatic Nautoscaph balances the bold clean lines of a squared watch head with a classic black dial. Luminous markers and numerals at 12, 6, and 9 allow better visibility. This classic dive watch features a single direction rotating bezel and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. A hardened sapphire crystal adds durability to the design with a water resistance of 999 feet! The stainless steel ‘Hooper’ bracelet closes with a double foldover locking clasp for security and peace of mind. This timepiece is perfect for your wrist, whether you are a serious collector or just looking for a wristwatch that will perform day in and day out!

AN ICONIC BRAND – Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Alsta made beautifully-engineered wristwatches for men and women of intellectual and creative substance. After decades of dormancy, our first timepiece in over 40 years was released in 2017: the Nautoscaph II, inspired by the Alsta Nautoscaph dive watch as worn by Richard Dreyfuss as the character Matt Hooper in the classic movie, Jaws. Our 21st century iterations of classic watches are sure to become conversation pieces and personal treasures.
MODERN AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT – This Swiss-made watch winds itself using a weight inside, which oscillates to put tension on the mainspring through the random movement of your arm while wearing the watch. You don’t have to wind an automatic watch if wearing it every day. If you haven’t worn the watch for a few days and it has stopped, simply unscrew the crown to its first open position and give it a few rotations in order to get the watch movement working again.
CARING FOR YOUR ALSTA – Always ensure that the screw-in crown is properly in the closed position before exposing your watch to water. Do not wear your watch in a hot bath or under a hot shower as extreme heat causes metal parts to expand at a different rate than the rubber seals and gaskets. We recommend that you rinse the watch – again with the crown screwed closed – under a stream of fresh water after exposure to or immersion in salt water. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
24 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY – We thoroughly test and proudly guarantee all Alsta watches for water resistance, shock resistance, temperature resistance and magnetic force resistance before release. All Alsta watches enjoy an international 2 year limited warranty. Please note, however, that certain restrictions apply; see our site for details. If the customer or an unauthorized repairer opens the watch, this invalidates the warranty, and a chargeable repair will result.
